African American History

It is easy to get depressed and Pociťuji anxiety about the issues that we get to our society. We can read the headlines in the paper, and listen to messages, news, and it seems like the whole world is falling around us. Unfortunately, the Media does a very good job reporting good things, which occurs every day. I know that there are good things that occur regularly, because I’m a theologian, and young adults who work with special things always I see. The media is in the line of the report on the youth, that gun to school, but take no notice of three students, so they can keep track of the basketball community student paralyzed after flight bleachers games. I have spoken to the members of the media about this report to me that feeling good must not sell documents or obtain the audience with stories.

Setting of the school and in the teaching is quite different. The main focus, we are with our students is complied with. Respect yourself, respect the other students and to respect the differences of the other party. I believe that in order to respect the other, you need to understand them and they are confident. I spend a great deal of time talking about different cultures, which are in our school. This month, we focus on African American history. (I) to engage students in the lesson plans. Three students are going to present the African American history for their particular family. The neat thing is that these students do not know the story of the full-working on the project. They are learning what they knew about their great grandparents never before. All students are involved in each segment that we do. Students that are not of African Americans will report a general topic with the African American history with. The purpose is not only to have a better understanding of the past and culture, but remember that most cultures have common elements. Native American students and students to implement some of the oils is a celebration of their practice within the framework of the culture is carried out for similar reasons.

I do not correlate various months or topics with national observances. African American history month, January is national. Do not do this then whereas some important gets over shaded in the media, the national events at the time. Students report to me that they are learning about each other and understand each other better. As a theologian, I must say that I am optimistic for the future of our country because I see young people doing big things.
