If you think that American food, what is the first meal that comes to mind? Probably a good old American hamburger, closely followed by hot dogs, French fries, steak and potatoes, right? Although we seem to be a long time are food when travelling to other areas of the world, if this were all there was a sort of American food could get old quickly.

America is a country of immigrants, however, many of the different Nations, settling in certain areas of the Americas. Many of the people of Israel, he emigrated to New York, while the Mexican immigrants gravitated towards the Southwest States such as Arizona and New Mexico, California. In the past century have the food traditions of the old country mixed into the American tradition, in a variety of ethnic cuisine absorbing American food scene. So if you think that American food, can we imagine a life without pizza, enchiladas, bagels and cream cheese or fried rice?

Let’s look at some of these common American food foreign origin. Here we list a few, but every kitchen has hundreds of less common dishes to try on your floor for some wonderful culinary experience.

Cajun and Creole cooking is tasty cuisine, which in America as fusion cuisine. This is actually a combination of American food,, South Africa and French influences. Known Cajun dishes include jambalaya, gumbo, dirty rice and Shrimp remoulade.

Other ethnic, but thoroughly absorbed into the American food culture belongs to the Italian and the other Mediterranean food, German, Scandinavian, Indian and African dishes with the healthful and exotic spices and the southern regional cuisine.

So the next time you think that American food, be aware that we are fortunate to have such a diversity of food, easy to find in our country. Good taste!
